THE LULLABY PROJECT
Greater St. Cloud Area Thrive offers a unique and interactive program, called the Lullaby Project, for area child care programs.
The Lullaby Project features a multicultural representative who visits child care programs to teach providers, and the children in care, one or two lullabies from their native country as well as creating a musical instrument. The Lullaby Project provides children a one-of-a-kind unique view into a culture different from their own. This project was created especially for those programs that may not have a very diverse population.
This project will satisfy the multicultural category for grants. At this time the project is only available to providers in Benton, Sherburne, Stearns, and Wright Counties. If you are interested in having the Lullaby Project at your program, contact Makayla at Milestones, [email protected], or 320-241-0629.
Each Lullaby session includes:
- Materials and instructions for children to create their own instrument
