Family, Friend and Neighbor Caregivers
Who are Family, Friend and Neighbor (FFN) Caregivers?
They are a large and important group of Minnesotans who care for the children of family members, friends or neighbors on a regular basis. For many parents in Minnesota, 46%, Family, Friend and Neighbor (FFN) caregivers are their primary child care arrangement, aiding them in getting to work or school each day.

Resources
SPARKS provides ideas for learning through family engagement by giving "kits" to families. These "kits" are the first step to introducing what learning can look like in their everyday routine. A kit is made up of two parts; a toy and a flyer which provides suggestions of activities the family can do with their child. Children will receive FREE kits and resources that correspond to their age for 6 months.
Please fill out this form to complete the SPARKS application.
Items in this presentation are suggestions of what you may use your approximate $200 mini-grant for. If you have other ideas or needs please let us know. Click Here to view some ideas.
